Building Safer Communities Through Practical Learning

The School Crossing Supervisor Program is the Rotary Club of Melbourne–Manila’s approved project under the Royce & Jean Abbey Scholarship Program.

The program provides selected participants from Manila with practical learning, community-safety experience and exposure to school crossing supervision and related training in Victoria.

Learning Through Community Service

Participants gain practical experience in community safety, supervision, communication and service delivery. The aim is to strengthen knowledge and skills that can be shared and applied in communities in the Philippines.

Community Safety & Training

Practical learning focused on school crossing supervision, safe pedestrian movement, communication and community responsibility.

Sharing Knowledge Back Home

Participants are encouraged to bring their learning and experience back to their communities and help strengthen local approaches to safety and service.
